I don’t totally know why, but I really love dinosaurs. As such, it seemed like an interesting use of time to see what one of my favorites artists, Egon Shiele, would have drawn (he never drew dinosaur so far as I’m aware).

It was a venture into an uncharted territory, hypothesizing how Egon might have interpreted these ancient creatures. The AI-rendered dinosaurs were a revelation, embodying Egon’s distinct expressionist style in an entirely novel context.

The AI-created dinosaurs were not mere reptilian figures; they were imbued with the characteristic lines and emotional intensity of Schiele’s work. This blend of prehistoric subject matter and early 20th-century expressionism resulted in character designs that were intriguingly anachronistic yet artistically harmonious.

This project highlighted AI’s potential as a creative tool, enabling artists to explore ‘what if’ scenarios that transcend time and space. The resulting images were more than just artistic experiments; they were a testament to the endless possibilities of AI in reimagining and revitalizing art from the past, creating a perfect blend of the old and the new.

So what is the point outside of tickling my own Dino-love. I could see these characters being a jumping off point for further character exploration. Even the simple weird introduction of what appears to be high heals is a funny touch, something I doubt myself or Egon would have ever come up with.
