Wire Dreams Reimagined Part 2: Using AI to visualize Sculptures

There is something really cool about prehistoric exhibitions of dinosaurs and museams, but seeing their bones, I always find I’m missing the texture of their skin.

Continuing the theme of wired cicadas, I decided to try a few sculptures of lizards, this time leaning into a more abstracted visual que.

There is something interesting about the immense detail of reptilian texture. If we remove the bones and lit them only with light, something about this presentation feels like commentary on how incredibly prolific mother nature is. 

Naturally this isn’t something I’d personally want to invest my spare time exploring, but AI gives me the opportunity to express these thoughts without having to spend an enormous amount of time sourcing reptilian skin for an exhibit at… [Insert random museam here]
